The harvest comes into the village
The Festa della Vendemmia connects the grape season with gatherings in the village streets. Umbria Tourism’s 2025 programme records an October event with food and wine, music and artistic activities. It explains the event’s character without establishing the dates or performances for a later edition.
If you come for the festival, use the afternoon for the old town and leave the evening for food and company. Ask where activities begin, whether tickets or bookings are needed and how vehicle access works. Arranging the return first means you can enjoy the evening without improvising transport.
Madonna della Neve and tortiglione
The religious celebration and almond sweet are part of the village’s memory. A 2010 festival listing preserved by ItalianoDoc records a summer programme with a procession and evening events. Its dates and contact details belong to that historical edition.
Tortiglione is the speciality to look for if you would like a food memory of the visit. Ask the current organisers where it is being prepared or sold. With children, a short walk before the busiest part of the evening can make the festival easier to enjoy.
